Dr. Tracy Evans, MD, received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. She went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University School of Medicine. After completing her general surgery internship and residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Dr. Evans completed additional training in trauma and surgical critical care at Westchester Medical Center University Hospital in Valhalla, New York.

 

In 2012, Dr. Evans became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Later, she received an executive MBA in healthcare from the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business. Dr. Evans currently resides in suburban Pittsburgh with her husband, journalist Tim Grant, and her mother – an Alzheimer’s survivor.
